{"id":7026,"date":"2018-05-14T12:28:58","date_gmt":"2018-05-14T02:28:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arthritisaustralia.com.au\/?page_id=7026"},"modified":"2021-03-17T14:59:36","modified_gmt":"2021-03-17T03:59:36","slug":"promoting-your-research-study","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/old.arthritisaustralia.org.au\/wordpress\/programs-research\/research-studies\/promoting-your-research-study\/","title":{"rendered":"Promoting your research study"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong>Website review process<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>For your study to be considered for placement on the <a href=\"https:\/\/old.arthritisaustralia.org.au\/wordpress\/programs-research\/research-studies\/current-research-studies\/\">c<em>urrent research studies<\/em><\/a> page of the Arthritis Australia website, please send <a href=\"mailto:info@arthritisaustralia.com.au\">info@arthritisaustralia.com.au<\/a> the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approval by your ethics department (please provide the documents)<\/li>\n<li>Full particulars of the study including a summary of research, objectives, protocol, locations, dates, what it entails for volunteers, volunteer profile, who to contact to enlist and any other relevant information<\/li>\n<li>Information sheets<\/li>\n<li>Consent forms<\/li>\n<li>A brief study summary for potential placement on the Arthritis Australia website. <em>For sample content, please refer to other studies already posted on the Arthritis Australia website <a href=\"http:\/\/arthritisaustralia.com.au\/programs-research\/research-studies\/current-research-studies\/\">current\u00a0research studies<\/a> page.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This information will then be referred to our Medical Director for approval, after which you will be notified of the outcome.\u00a0You may also be asked for additional information if required.<\/p>\n<p>If approval is granted, your study will be uploaded onto our website.<\/p>\n<p>Once the study has completed recruitment, please notify <a href=\"mailto:info@arthritisaustralia.com.au\">info@arthritisaustralia.com.au<\/a> and the study will be moved to the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/old.arthritisaustralia.org.au\/wordpress\/programs-research\/research-studies\/past-research-studies\/\">past research\u00a0studies<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>page.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Social media process <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>Note:<\/em> Only research studies that first receive approval for posting on the Arthritis Australia\u2019s\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/arthritisaustralia.com.au\/programs-research\/research-studies\/current-research-studies\/\">current\u00a0research studies<\/a> <\/em>page will be considered for promotion on Arthritis Australia\u2019s social media. Please also note that your study\/trial may appear on one or all of Arthritis Australia\u2019s social media platforms (this is at the discretion of the Website and Social Media Officer) and will only be promoted once.<\/p>\n<p>To have your study considered for placement on Arthritis Australia\u2019s social media channels, please provide:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Copy:<\/em> Short and engaging copy inviting consumers to participate should be provided<\/li>\n<li><em>Image:<\/em> At least one high quality image should be provided (ideally 800x800px size) and you should own the image rights.\n<ul>\n<li>Researchers can purchase appropriate and engaging images from websites such as:\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shutterstock.com\/\">https:\/\/www.shutterstock.com\/<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.istockphoto.com\/au\">https:\/\/www.istockphoto.com\/au<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><em>For sample content and images, please refer to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/arthritisaustralia\">Arthritis Australia\u2019s Facebook page\u00a0<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Arthritis Australia\u2019s <em>Website and Social Media Officer<\/em> is responsible for approval of any social media content and placement is subject to their discretion.
